Surveying farmlands is indispensable for providing product safety and quality assurance. With a clear insight into client needs, domestic market trends, and the potential for added value, SC Foods visits farms and processing facilities around the world.

Information on climate, location, and other factors allows SC Foods to determine the optimum farmland and processing site for each product. Moreover, during these regular visits, SC Foods monitors and inspects the sites, ensuring safety and quality control.

Creating something from scratch

One day, a client asked whether SC Foods procured puree of a certain vegetable. Its supplies were unstable, and they were looking for an alternative source. Upon receiving this inquiry, SC Foods started its search on potential suppliers.
After figuring out that Spain was the largest producer of this vegetable in Europe, SC Foods contacted one supplier in Spain. Although it produced the vegetable in abundance, the supplier had never processed it for distribution and was initially hesitant in accepting our request. SC Foods, however, diligently worked with the client and supplier, and, two years after the initial inquiry from our client, we have started trial production this year(2019).

Vietnam offers the best shrimp

SC Foods introduces exquisite shrimp from CP Vietnam.
CP Vietnam Corporation is the only seafood company in Vietnam with a centralized operational structure that manages everything from raising juveniles to feeding, cultivating, and processing shrimp. It cultivates whiteleg shrimp indoors using saltwater. High salinity delays the growth of shrimp but increases its firmness and enhances its savory flavor. In addition, the shrimps are transferred to the factory alive using oxygen tanks, so that they could be processed while still fresh. In this way, SC Foods is able to introduce products maintaining the shrimp’s original umami flavor and vivid pink color.
