Nearly a century ago, a great endeavor began under the limitless blue skies of Australia, when one Japanese arrived and, overcoming daunting obstacles, laid the foundation for rice cultivation in the Land Down Under. Today, the expansive agricultural land and people of Australia produce premium-quality rice. The production of rice continues to evolve, adopting Japanese milling and quality control techniques. Our rice is cultivated in an irrigation area in Leeton, New South Wales, located between the Murrumbidgee River and Murray River. The rice that was first cultivated by a Japanese now returns to Japan.
